On the 3rd of October, THE Sello Maake KaNcube Foundation in collaboration with Ntholeng Mohau will be hosting a walkathon to support the fight against breast cancer by encouraging women and men to go for regular screening to increase the chances of early detection and survival. “During the time I found out I had breast cancer I developed different emotional feelings I felt anger ,fear , shock but most of all disbelief I started asking myself and God why me and why did I deserve to go through such a hardship journey in my life. January 2018 was the time I was diagnosed with breast cancer finding out I had it was not the hardest thing to accept but having to undergo operation I knew from then that my journey has started, and I was about to go through hell. I started vomiting, my body was aching my worst nightmare chemo had started now my hair was gone the scars where there to remind me everyday that I have breast cancer my complexion starting changing damn just when I thought I was done I had to face radiation What a painful ,body burning traumatic experience from then my life style changed I couldn’t even drink normal milk anymore nor could I enjoy cheese .however the love and support I received through family and friends showed me love from then I knew that this was a journey of hope and hope made me conquer breast cancer. I am proudly a breast cancer survivor.” Thabang Motsieloa – Ntholeng Mohau Founder/Sello Maake KaNcube Foundation Events Manager
